No, you can trade MGTRE until 6 May. REs expire on 13 May (either by you exercising your rights or letting them lapse).
If you take up the entitlement, the options you receive have about a year of being tradeable (from 20 May). They will cease being tradeable a week or so before expiry.
Ive spoken to Commsec who referred me to Computershare, who referred me to the company directly.
No one was able to say why Commsec customers don't have the REs when it seems all others do.
Quite poor that a group of holders can't make use of this price spike in the REs should they want to... or even just be secure in the knowledge they have their allotted entitlement.
