Can't tick you up on that mate.

I fear you correlate EVs with GW - and as we have discussed, the concept of global warming as a consequence of human activity only has circumstantial evidence - it has not and cannot be proved scientifically. **

    However
EVs are here to stay - and the sooner the diesel busses (noisy smelly dirty archaic monsters) are replaced on the routes outside our apartment, the better. Did you watch the TV show last night about 'Best Electric Vehicles' ? - There is NO WAY the big auto companies are going back to the old tech - rather with continued development of the batteries and the electric power components - they will sooner or later ditch new ICEs completely.
Alright, in outback and northern Australia that will create an issue - but really what can that do to the total global trend ?

Mate, this is my last effort to convince you - get with the flow. Anyway, cheers, and GL.

** Why cant it be proved scientifically?
Because to apply science to a problem it must be broken down to smaller problems for which there is an established scientific theory - A Process called Reductionism - Then the small established outcomes are built back up into the original problem.
It just does not work - (even for a simple heat engine like an absorbtion refrigerator- I have built such a model) - And IMO it is madness to try to reduce the whole globe, including the actions of the sun and other planets, to a climate model for the Earth's surface.

Any engineer who has tried to produce a mathematical model will know the problems - generalities only can be established.
And many such models can be shown to be mathematically unstable. In Control Systems Design (a branch of engineering mathematics) to have stability you must have feedback, and to analyse that in even a simple system you need specialist mathematics in the complex domain.

But I accept that Global Warming is happening, and we humans could be contributing.
I have visited the town of Battle in Kent, England. The current layout and sea level does not match the historical reports of the Battle of Hastings - sea level must have been higher then, or land lower (1066 AD, during the medieval warm period)
When in Rome, I wanted to visit the port of ancient Rome (c 400 BC, during the Roman warm period), but have had to rely on Google Earth.
Again, sea level must have been higher then - and you can even see beaches high and dry, between the old port and the present sea. I recall.

Both those warm periods corresponded to times of plenty for humans - the intermediate cold periods to times of hunger and mass migrations.

I do not fear global warming - but there will be consequences. What I dislike is diesel busses.
