    Works very well this for SG-Fleet IMO, CN continues to get schooled time and time again:-

    1. Buy-in and small supply of cars
    2. Get on Board
    3. Bleed it out
    4. Force the heaviest raise yet at the lowest price yet.
    5. Buy your allotment

    Maybe then:-
    1. Position to obtain any/all the shortfall
    2. Walk away with near 70/80% of the company from raising
    3. Buy the rest later
