After watching the presentation I have my doubts about the CFO. Not just his defense of the Bergen deal but suggesting Portia is profitable at 0.5 - 0.7 g/t after Dr Giles had just said 1 g/t and even that is probably not break even.
Maybe Dr Giles is not getting fed the full story from his CFO on certain matters. Running the companies funds so low in the first place suggests the CFO hasn't heard of a budget.
I still took up my shares and a few more, gets my average down but it's a roll of the dice. I contacted the company about a few things and I was pleased to hear that talks of winding up Portia are already progressing. There's the possibility of changing the CMC deal as well in the latter stages of Portia. I'm hoping they have finally hit another rich patch and after that is processed they will wind up Portia with some extra cash in the bank.
