Honestly there is no real point in putting Leanne on a pedestal here, a lot of what she had achieved was some 3 years ago where she was working under the directorship of someone else at Xero you will find the majority of the rise in Xero SP ($40) was done after she had left the organisation and was mainly due to Xero directors at the time being able to raise $180m NZD at an issue price of $18.15 for a total allotment of 9.9m Xero shares.
What should be looked at is, what has she achieved in the the capacity of director/chairman i.e. has she proven to the market that she has been a successful director/chairman of a public listed company?
As you noted
She went on to form a venture company called Cloud Rainmakers, Cloud Rainmakers went on to invest a cool half a million dollars in a company called Geo Op (NZX) where she ultimately became the CEO of.
May be worth your while to check out how that company is going
