patent extensions are not guaranteed. They can apply, but might get rejected. Need to demonstrate certain requirements for an extension.
in saying that, the patents have a few years left on the clock. Something the company doesn't.
be interesting to see if any will pay anything for bit225. Be sad to see it valued at $0 after 24 years of tax payers and shareholders money spent on it.
