Yes indeed - I was working at ANU when JCSMR spun off BIT (lots of people saying that should not have happened but there was a funding cut by the government at the time.
I am thoroughly disappointed that the core business which was HIV research has effectively ended.
They seem to be pinning hope on the antiviral end of the biotech sector - maybe a goer but they won't raise enough to even undertake a phase 1 trial for that.
I can't believe the mistakes made by management over the last 3 years. I was very excited when they started the HIV trial and very disappointed when that basically fizzled out and the results were delayed when they should not have been.
