Yes I didn't expect punters to be taking a position yet, I expected less interest due to the long down trend and challenges returning to business as usual here.
Well the latest news in VN is that they are now allowing foreign experts, investors and skilled workers in - albeit they must complete 2 week quarantine. In other words this only applies to big companies like Samsung etc
I have a foreign friend who also lives here, he's married to a local and has kids, a house, temporary residence, everything is in VN. He left VN during the tet holiday and hasn't been able to return since...
So as for opening for Chinese tourism... I don't expect it anytime soon.
