I understand the debt burden is gone but it was the way it was paid off that I'm not quite excited about... Using shareholders money to pay off a debt shows that the company doesn't have the money in its coffers to pay the debt off independently. I would have given the company credit if it had used its positive cash flow (which I don't think it has) to pay off the debt.
