ever since we've been engaged with the EPA and Federal Govt - We've been told one thing in meetings, comply with that, then when directives received in writing they are different

AN, carnaby cockatoos (no trees for nesting, but they can forage here) - if you can avoid the tall trees it wouldnt be an issue.

VRX selected area free of trees. Yet they received a PDR from the EPA.

Already started environmental surveys, lodged draft documents, EPA is very keen and support, and encourage VRX to submit draft documents
1) so they can feedback
2) get their requirements and priorities
EPA is not conducting an environmental assessment, they are conducting an assesssment with guidelines == they don't understand VDT process
EPA isn't assessing environemntals of the project, they are reading guidelines instead

Federal has not been an issue and they have said they will accepted the accredited survey from the state

ESD most important document
- includes all the studies the EPA will require to complete their assessment
- does the work for the EPA

Lodged in Sept, told by EPA it will take 3-4 weeks.

October new EPA requirements come out
Found out last Friday the format of EPA guidelines changed and VRX needs to resubmit ESD in a new format

There is legislature on formal documents, but not for drafts.
Drafts have no SLA which has caused time - but VRX told to use drafts

VRX completing studies as per guidelines, even if they feel they aren't relevant like the Acid Mine and the Air Quality dust reception ($15k and consultant even asked why would you bother)

Need a response on the draft ESD from EPA
Can't report to market on anything until something in writing received from EPA
