The asx hates targets so I sort of get it but the target they announced was quite reasonable given their understanding of local lithology and my understanding is they have done some prior drilling in the north but then went slow on that until the emerging question Mark on ownership was sorted . Some of the targets spod producers have put out have also been much more bullish than this and given spodumene tends to be with the nature of pegmatites far more variable in local lithology over short distances than already proven up salt pans .

Yet the clown show that is Lake puts out a total Bs production target in early 2022 to 50,000 tonnes which was already a stretch given there was no dfs to then only up that to the completely ridiculous 100,000 tonnes of carbonate in March of that year . Many on here were saying it was total c*rap and unlikely to be ever achieved given the resource they are working with and the asx some 18 months later finally gets around to querying them .

The application of the rules here seems a little inconsistent for mine !
