Virtually all the deaths we're reading about at the moment are due to the military conflicts in the provincial border areas, i.e., members of the army and separatist ethnic militias killing each other

These conflicts have been going on for literally decades. Many of the people that invested in this company didn't seem to know or care about the people being killed in these skirmishes before the coup. But now, every time someone dies they sprint to hotcopper and paste a link to the media story and tell everyone how immoral the situation is and that they condemn this person and that person etc

Why are these people so vocal and righteous now yet seemingly so indifferent before? Answer: They are mainstream media consumers, and they have been programmed by the media narrative to be outraged
