Paul referred to selling PAM as a cope out until they reach a much higher value and he knows he can potentially build a billion dollar chemical company. PAM have also made it clear they are pursuing the Sulphate Roast processing route instead of using LPD technology which isn't as developed yet not even in their list of considerations.
LPD also can't afford to buy out 1/4 of PAM and have their own issues to deal with. LPD going up 1 cent from 0.13 to 0.14 may be a large % increase but not a good signal of people buying LPD.

Possible Thailand government involvement delaying announcement - who knows???
