Not quite correct: there was no months grace to be had.
The ASX announcement (22nd August) was quite clear, re: under listing rule 17.15 an entity that has not paid its listing fees as required by Listing Rule 16.5 by 5pm AEST on Friday, 26 August will be removed from the Official List with effect from the close of trading on Friday 26 August.
