my guess is they are going to provide earnings guidance or some other similar granular future forecast

if you havent done it before - and especially if you haven no prior earnings history to guide you - it demands a lot of estimates reviews, more reviews, revisions and then multiple signoff rounds by cfo, ceo and then sometimes chairman

and as you get down to countdown to release its common to identify tiny tiny little changes you want to make - that then need another round of signoffs.

thats how you get shifted from 'i need a few weeks to 'a few days' to 'monday' to 'tuesday'.

could be the same behaviour just in a normal response to the ASX - but the length of the suspension hints at something else

it would be one way to cleanse the 'whatifs' in one go that showed a lot of integrity
