I did some research,some time ago regarding the Tailings dumps.Despite being present for a hundred years,I can find no record of environmental concerns being raised previously as to their existence.
I find it curious that the Clarence environmental groups,suddenly find that Drilling by an exploration company,on or about those dumps,represents an environmental risk worthy of blockade and sanction.
Rather than let these bums gain traction in the Public arena,I would suggest that contributors to this tread go a little further and write to newspapers in THEIR area highlighting the duplicity and the anomalies in their actions.
I understand that the Clarence Environmental Centre,who have been at the forefront of recent actions,is tethering at the edge of being able to financially continue as a 'going concern'.
Let us push it in the right direction.
