Especially off the back of the extended QBL --> CGB trading halt this extended delay is frustrating.
However, in my opinion, ASX will be vetting this announcement at their own speed and if it gets the green light I would presume it would provide considerable comfort to shareholders that the validity of the research initiatives announcement has been carefully scrutinised and is legitimate.
At a guess, it may be COVID related which would be supported by the following snippet out of the AFR story 'ASX Crack-down on COVID-19' announcements - "ASX is now reviewing all proposed announcements with COVID-19 related content before release. Ordinarily, ASX does not review every announcement ahead of time with over 130,000 made by companies each year"
