    This is exactly what JT was arguing with US senators about 12+- months ago.

    In the interview JT said there had been 'discussions' with the US who wanted raw materials for their own production. He was committed even back then that the US would be buying finished CAN product and were going to be the end user. Surprised he actually got the job done to be honest.

    Now with these 3 manufactures in CAN the gov has signalled that they are willing to back the industry. When emerging players look to which countries they want to setup shop or source product CAN obviously wants to be close to the top of the list. Theres less risk to price/producers (and ancillary businesses) AND the gov has a long term investment that can help deleverage. Zero brains required, win win....

    ...and ndfeb now has to be the missing critical component unless those hundreds of thousands of battery packs are going to somehow push themselves down the rd what.png
