I'm obviously biased, Juju but the only thing I can think of is (hopefully) mngt is aware the combined effect will trigger interest from a licencee or (the Everly Bros "Dreeeeam...") an interest in the co itself.
OR could just be a coincidence official news on both issues was received virtually at the same time !!
