Just wondering out loud how the copper price rise has impacted the equity bidder's plans. The one week sell down before it dropped, we know VXR was pushed down into the offer despite copper starting it's breakout, up every day during while VXR was capped.

With another extension for negotiations, copper price now more than doubled those early gains during the pervious week. No question this copper rocket is most unfortunate timing for the equity bidder who was probably planning this for months. I wonder if it's also making life harder for the BOD, certainly makes it harder to roll over for a lowball offer. Maybe both parties are extending negotiations hoping this copper gamma squeeze rolls over quickly so everyone can reach a face saving deal....?
