Well you have only yourself to blame for investing in a company with high risk/reward, if it does fizzle up in smoke. What is unfolding could well be a sloppily-organised takeover but you'd rather throw your toys out the pram and cry instead of standing by your decision and letting it play out as it's going to anyway
