this is far from over. there are a lot of questions around whether this move even does anything to protect IOT from the legal proceedings or not, since the original agreement was made when Kantor was a Director and firing him now does not invalidate actions/agreements he made when he was IOT's director/representative.
From a damage control perspective, this is the right move, just not sure how effective it would be. Don't forget Kantor can also sue IOT for unfair dismissal since they terminated his employment before the outcome of the court case.
this is an absolute shitstorm from a legal point of view.
