Interestingly I have been looking through past releases and it relation to the Debt Facility. The FY14 release mentions the following
+ Interest Cover Ratio for the preceding 12 month period, of at least 3:1;
+ Debt Service Ratio for the preceding 12 month period of at least 3:1;
+ Gearing Ratio not exceeding 45%; and
+ Variance To Budget Ratio for the preceding 12 month period of at least 0.85:1
My understanding is the 45% has been 55% for some time now. Do we know if the others have changed?
Today's announcement and the comment "This likely material difference in EBIT could result in a breach of a financial covenant under theCompany's Senior Financing Facility" points to an issue with the interest cover ratio. Interest in FY18 was some $3.9m which was quite a jump for FY17.
