I’m just wondering why CP thinks he should have got the share placement? Are pattos obliged to offer to just any institutional investor? I would think not. So who represented what to CP to make him think he’s got grounds for an interlocutory injunction. This is classic “detrimental reliance” but reliance on what?
What is the remedy? Not sure. It’s been thrown out once. So I still think that CP’s chances of winning this one are slim.
Why the trading halt then? Maybe CP and sources have stipulated the remedy claim.
Again, if that's the case, this is probably just a negotiating tactic. Bit like the $14.5million being claimed by former Optus employee yesterday for harassment.
