Surely you wouldn't risk 5 years jail.
Let me ask you, how many examples can you give me of anyone getting 5 years jail (or any time for that matter)? ASX/ASIC is a toothless tiger, they have not enough resources, time or money to take anyone to court. It would have to be a very serious and obvious case and usually require media hype to enact action.
And I am with leishd on this one, there's not enough experienced personnel at ASX to accurately vet announcements. Most action is reactive, not pro-active.
