Lets be honest here. As much as you say the bauxite should be discontinued for environmental reasons.. I can assure you someone, if not QBL, would still do it anyway.
The Chinese would lobby to take it, no doubt. Hate to say it but the environment in all reality is not the highest priority for companies because their compass is pointed in the direction of SHAREHOLDER benefits predominantly.
The govt would ask for "rejuvenation royalties" or some bs to look good and say they are trying to stop it, but when the bottom line leftover is still in the black, away we go.
