I hope it never happens and the company have a change of heart. You want perfect media coverage dropping Bauxite mine for industrial hemp is the perfect headline. Red mud is a massive problem and river systems, flora and fauna become decimated because of this.

People need to completely change the way they look at mining and it’s impact to the environment long term and seek out sustainable future practices.. If Henry Ford could build 60% of his vehicles using hemp (which is stronger than steel) and fuel them with bio fuel then what can we learn from and use from that in today’s world.

All the people here spruiking a float because they aren’t interested bauxite should be encouraging the company to push the idea of using hemp for far more industrial and building purposes.

If you believe Global warning is a real issue or not people should at least accept that mining is destructive to our lands.. just look what it’s done in Malaysia! How do you fix that? We might have better practices than Malaysia but considering how much we can recycle these days imagine if we used what we could recycle for the components that were necessary for things like automobiles and make the rest using hemp.

Also considering AKs long time push for hemp and cannabis laws to change who better to lead this crusade and what better time to start doing this than right at the start! Stoke while the irons hot so to speak.

Anyway the biggest issue is actually changing the way people think.. mining is big business but for the 50000 uses of hemp there’s plenty of opportunity to develop sustainable practices. And if you can about the environment you should be pushing for this..

It won’t be to the detriment of shareholders either.. new sustainable business opportunities will arise and this is especially for a company like this. We’ve seen already that hemp has been more profitable in a short period of time and South J has done nothing for a long long time.

Anyway just the way I see it. For a company to push with sustainable alternatives.. who wouldn’t support that?
