I don’t think they need drill and blast operations it’s the top 5-10m they will be mining sounded like it’s just sitting there as well worn down from weathering might even be alluvial. If they do at all it won’t be blast patterns just where there is hard rock formations to break up.

Given there would be constant monitoring of the water ways with samples taken if the samples were well below the safe levels I would but I wouldn’t let my daughter drink any creek water really. Swim in it go right ahead.
