In this instance I think the "capital raising price = what is the lowest price point the company can go to so the existing share holders don't sell at even lower." Not much incentive for the cap raising buyer if they can get it cheaper.
Shareholders should call the company for an update on the production process? No point throwing more money to the "employee salary pool".
