I'm just catching up and saw this announcement that, on its face, raises some questions for anyone that can assist as I was unavailable to partake in the AGM on 17 July:
How long has Grant Thornton actually been the ISX auditor?;
Item 1 on the agenda at the AGM was the 'Financial Statements and Reports'. Were these tabled and formally adopted?;
Was the auditor present or available at the AGM and, if so, did they have anything to comment on or were any questions put forward?; and
Does anyone have any knowledge of what the 'perceived conflict of interest' may involve? That phrase covers quite a lot.
To short cut things, I'm familiar with the ISX corporate structure, announcements and correspondence, and the Corporations Act relating to auditors. I'm familiar with the contents of this thread also.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.
