This is a great move by MVT (Sir Ron) Through MVT he is one of tyhe largest shareholders.
The reality of it is that spending $3m between now and february is beyond a joke when if managed properly ASX fees would at most be $50k inclusive of statatory mgt of register etc... Not sure what the cost of holding a meeting is but you would half that cost by combining the meetsings and the rest going to staff and directors when the company is only a shell why do they have any staff and the directors should be getting only a small amount for what they are doing!
Liquidation and run out costs can be done for less than $500k not the $2.39m that the board has advised.
This will be a great saving for shareholders and I for one will support the move!
