Got it handed to him on a plate to keep his gig and make money from share price appreciation and made an absolute disaster of it. Makes no sense.
Who hires him after this and more importantly who would back whatever company he ends up at next if he does.
Surely at this point you have some humility and go quietly do avoid further damage. But somehow I doubt it
