It Clearly states rap gives false positives if anything not false negatives which is what RAT tests are doing.
So at worst rap tells you that you are positive go and get further testing which will come back as negative. No harm done.
It also has a 92% sensitivity meaning when all the false positives are taken into account, rap rarely misses anyone with covid.
RAT tests at the moment in real world settings are giving back a huge amount of false negatives and sending people with covid back into the community. Very dangerous. I would much rather a false positive then a false negative.
- the cough thing you talk about just shows you haven’t done any research as it has been discussed multiple times it can be a voluntary or involuntary cough. It doesn’t matter.
As ALCP said this isn’t trying to replace a RAT or PCR test it is reducing the need for them by ruling out as many people as possible. All on a smartphone with no need to produce anything or waste anything which has a great impact on the environment as well.
