Yes, and there's still some work to do.
We'll need a double-blind clinical trial to go ahead. Luckily:
- There are lots of test candidates out there both with and without the condition.
- The PCR test is a highly accurate gold standard.
- PCR test results are (or can be) available in a couple of days so no need for long delays waiting for independent diagnoses.
- It's a point-in-time test so there's no longitudinal coverage necessary.
My guess is all stops out and 12 weeks to have results.
