absolutely not, i think that sleep apnoea machines have been around long enough to be prescribed by a GP on the basis of an app study as the intervention has no possibility of harming the patient. It's not like you need to go to a cardiologist to get hooked up to an ECG, or a respiratory physician to get prescribed an asthma inhaler. RAP have an opportunity to take the allocation of machines out of the realms of "Sleep study" medicine - entire clinic designed to diagnose a problem where the treatment could just be tried out without any harm.
