That's exactly what i'm saying - this is where I see this App fitting in. My mother has a hearing aid, bought it without seeing an audiologist from a contact in medical supplies - it comes with an app that diagnoses and adjusts and allows her to modify by trial and error - saved her about $2000 by not going to someone who simply runs a machine that does the same thing but in an office rather than in her home.
