I read someone posted here that in Israel, they're looking at voice recordings as these carry unique signature in identifying this virus. This is no different with the cough recordings.. it also carries unique identifier. With enough data with this virus, with/out symptoms, an algorithm can be developed using this data. We already have this algo to determine URTI/LRTI and what we do now is alter the algo. The more data the better. Basically the same approach but we are uniquely identifying another sickness as you like.
