I like this a lot. I am a physician and refer many patients for PSG. This is expensive, tome consuming and generally annoying for many - therefore, a fair few no shows result. The limited data presented suggest this app is superior to current prediction scores (screening scores that estimate likelihood of sleep disordered breathing). Presumably sensitivity and specificity could be augmented by a couple of simple questions fed in to the algorithm (eg weight/BMI/blood pressure/sex etc) to improve these figures. This is a possible game changer for OSA screening in low-moderate risk patients (many of those....). Insurance companies and health ministries would love to see this (massive cost savings over PSG)....
