Morning all
!
Hi
@Bloky and
@mumstheword etc. Wasn't in the sin-bin - Red bar was a good little pigeon
! Been out west in a remote area with limited services. Was able to upload the threads at times, read and give out a few likes etc. Expressed my excitement to last week's announcements verbally rather than through the words I write in here. I reckon I drove the patrons around me and a couple of my buddy's who were present with me nuts with my ResApp lectures
!... They say word of mouth is a powerful tool, well that's exactly why every broker in this country knows about RAP. All eyes are focused on us, "the world is watching" (a famous HC quote from
@Lefevre ) BL and TK have worked their ass off to ensure that everyone is watching... one doesn't have to look that far to realise this --- look at all of the media attention of late, look at the monthly views here on HC over 40k just WOW! What a huge turnaround compared to this time last year ay?!
Well done to management for delivering two quality announcements last week
!
1. Notice of Acceptance Received for Core Patent in Australia
2. ResApp Partners with Lockheed Martin for DARPA Research
WOW x 2
!
So a few weeks ago we received the US patent now we have acceptance for the core patent in Australia. Safe sex is always recommended before sleeping with the big boys
, I mean they do get around a lot throwing money here and there, buying out other sexy outfits experimenting with different tec, yep --- safety first
! Hmmm moving on...
So now we have this Lockheed Martin partnership. Unbelievable! Just over one year ago I did post up on this forum in the "Telehealth on the rise" thread, that I created, the possibility that we would be working directly with the DoD - here is the post: Post #:
25884264 it was directed at the Airforce and VA (Department of Veteran Affairs) looks like I was on to something...
Here was one of the articles I post it up with in that post above:
https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/telehealth/air-force-to-use-va-s-teleicu.html
As you can see working with the air force will spill over into other areas like the Department of Veteran Affairs and the national centre for telehealth and technology now know as DHA connected health. What is this DHA you might ask?!
"DHA Connected Health (formerly the National Center for Telehealth & Technology) is the branch of the Defense Health Agency responsible for reviewing, evaluating, coordinating, and integrating the use and development of health technology supporting Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries. These technologies include telehealth, mobile apps, mobile web, virtual reality, augmented reality, and wearable devices."
A recent major development this year was:
"June 11 marked a major milestone for clinicians delivering telehealth services at the Department of Veterans Affairs. It was the go-live date for a policy shift dubbed "anywhere-to-anywhere," which allows qualified practitioners to log in to VA's telehealth system and see patients without regard to state rules and regulations."
And....
"VA has been leading the medical profession in telehealth services for more than a decade, but lately the agency has been looking to regulatory updates rather than technological breakthroughs to advance the delivery of services to its
20 million-strong patient population.
"By 2020 it will be a routine experience that for all of our clinicians -- [that] telehealth is part of the job," the acting head of the Veterans Health Administration Carolyn Clancy told a panel of senators in May. "This is not a unique, boutique activity."
VA's budget for telehealth backs that up. In 2018, the agency has a $1.3 billion telehealth budget, and VA officials are expecting to spend $1.2 billion in 2019 and
$955 million on building out and supporting telehealth services and technology.
HUGE! I urge you to read the full article..
