I'm totally in agreement with the Pilot project since it will be running concurrently with the waiting period of Clinical Trial results and the FDA approval. Best use of idle time.

I get it that the subsequent granting of the first six-month exclusive no-cost licence might be used as the carrot or a goodwill gesture.

However, I'm lost with the rationale to grant the second six-month non-exclusive no-cost licence. My estimate is this will fall around H2 2019. By then, if all is well, it shouldn't be that hard to get them to pay.
