The constination expressed on the RAP forum is so common across the digital space; like the digital reciever in your TV, or the bugs in your smartphone, it's black or white, one way or the other, working or broken, answers or confusion, no analogue in between. AI is incapable of disambiguation.

In the case of RAP's algo, remember our relative accuracy has been measured against a primary, clinical disgnosis. Because our algo didn't disagree with the primary, clinical diagnosis, it has necessarily been judged to be accurate. For example, a cough sound profile that is not necessarily LRTI isn't, to my logic, URTI hence the less than optimal results in pneumonia diagnosis.

A digital replacement for the stethoscope it way well become, but nothing I've seen or read has convinced me RESAppDX can replace the subjective, interpretive power of a Dr as a frontline diagnotic tool.

Espousing the size of the market and repeating how many people visit a doctor because of a cough each year wont change that. Does RAP really propose being responsible for the at-home self diagnosis of billions of people?

RAPS biggest feature will hopefully be the ability to diagnose within a virtual Telehealth visit.
So it’s not replacing a Doctor because the Doctor cannot be there just because of what a Telehealth visit is.
Rap is not a certainty to get up yet but we are getting closer to finding out. Good luck.
