"TK says we are the only regulatory approved app to diagnose respiratory disease" – You can only get away with saying that for a certain amount of time before you have to start saying "we are the first regulatory approved..."
We've been saying "only approved", and before that "only clinically proven" for three years now.
How long do we think we can continue saying this before it's no longer true?
We've been pretty complacent about our first-mover advantage, but how often does the inventor of a technology actually get to be the one that brings it to the market? You can be very sure that the moment we proved it could be done large, rich, powerful organisations started their own projects. Organisations with marketing capabilities that would be able to swamp our efforts. Three years ago it was reasonable to say that it would take years for any competitor to accumulate the necessary data to train their algorithm. But they've had years, haven't they? And the pandemic will have directed a lot more energy and money into those projects.
I predict that we will see a directly competing product on the market, backed by the might of a major multi-national company, before Christmas this year.
