There has been little information regarding the 'mechanical' issues re previous drilling. However, I read an article about the Alvares-1 well that is beside our well and they also had issues and stopped drilling due to equipment failure. Apparently back in the day they were only looking for oil (not gas) and were not prepared for the over pressurized gas environment. A good sign if you are after gas!!
