re: Ann: Research Report - ISR Uranium and Pe... Its a delicate time to be undertaking term contracts. A major factor being that US Utilities appear to well stocked and that producers are not willing to commit to LT contracts at low rates. Bit of a stand off of sorts.

Can understand Pen not wanting to commit too much product given the present LT price, but they also need an off take to secure senior debt. What to do??

Apparently this lack of term activity is feeding the spot as this is where producers are offloading their inventory.

Good piece of news (rare) is that the over hang in supply has decreased from 20 odd mil last year to approx 4 mil this year.

Lets hope its a case of darkest before he dawn..otherwise might have to hit the snooze button for another six months..
