Re the timing of CHC, back in 2014 there was a lot of noise from the community opposing the mine, you have got to think those voices are winding up again so it is no surprise the Council is pushing it out as long as they can and trying to give the perception of arms length. The State Government might be pro-development but that doesnt mean that the community wants a whopping great mine reactivating.
