No need to be so pessimistic- After all, NST just trippled its reserves meaning the valuation will go up based on new broker ratings (hopefully it'll come in 1-2 days). This will give it a big boost when those new valuations comes through.
Even big veteran stock picker like George's bamboo fund is buying gold - just too bad he didn't buy NST but he could based on new reports on massive upgrade in new reserves.

Note: The new discovery is not yet included in the reserves.. (which itself says management is conservative). It would not surprise me if we achieve yet another outsize production figure with lower AISC...
Overall - I don't think NST is really setting aggressive expectations... it appears they are quite conservative....
