Am soo loving the business management approach Simon Johnson has brought to AXP. It is stamped all over the business in terms of everything they now do; how does it add value NOW??
Growing production - low cost workovers
Growing reserves - firewall acquisition
Low cost drilling programme
gas production - market leading crypto solution
Building cash balances for expansion
etc. Etc.
he has really brought a transformation away from the high stakes wildcat approach of the past.
A couple of more months of solid growing production numbers and the penny will drop in the market and they can emerge from survival mode and develop some more value adding initiatives and expand their multiple.
