    I was feeling a little more encouraged but that didn't last long when I read the small printing disclaimer at the bottom of that announcement.

    Could it have been released because of the fears which the Dow Jones dropping by such an amount would have caused.?

    In the end the sp dropped anyway. 7.41% as a matter of fact in the ASX.
