Yeah good call. I say they hit a brick wall with West Arunta, so there wasn't really anything for L. Reynolds to do apart from sit pretty at his desk. Or maybe they never really meant to do anything there in the first place...(i.e. as you say, they are betting the farm on their fancy microwave oven...).
