Timing is the answer. Smells like he had spent 12 months with the new CEO to make a call - or he was pushed by the CEO to make way for his own team. CFO been there long enough for long term incentives to kick in and make it hard to leave. Will be watching with interest the year end results to see what the CEO delivers other than a new logo. The buy back has been ineffective. CBA still an issue to be resolved.
